The animation and design team at Stormy Studio worked with video agency Wooshii on this unique project for Thermo Fisher Scientific. The video strikes a balance of highlighitng the impact of those with Covid symptons in the early days of the outbreak and reinforcing the importance of the work the company do.
It's another pharmaceutical animation we were very proud to work on. Plus the heartfelt story lent itself to some beautifully illustrated scenes.

What is pharmaceutical animation?

There are times when either due to production budget or deadline that it makes sense to utilise stock photography or video footage to quickly bring a video together. Typically using sites like Envato, ShutterStock and Getty Images.

How much does pharma animation cost?
The cost of a high quality pharmaceutical animation or healthcare animation varies depending on its length, complexity, style and deadline. Projects of 90 to 180 seconds often fall within the wide ball park of £6k to £20k.
Common reasons for increased cost are complex 3D design and animation, large amounts of unique 2D asset design or including bespoke animated characters.

What is a mode of action video?
A mode of action video (also known as MOA video) is a 2D or 3D animation that explains how a drug or medical device can affect the body.
Produced for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, animated videos can show the unique effects at a cellular level, explain diseases and tackle oncology and respiratory subjects.
